3 Things You Must Have Before Saying “I Do” 💍

Marriage is beautiful, but entering it blindly? 🚫 My brother, my sister, that’s a recipe for premium tears. Before you say “Yes” or “I do,” please check these three boxes:

1. Conviction 🙏

Are you truly led by God or just led by emotions?

Do you have peace in your spirit that this person is God’s will for you?

Because when challenges come (and they will come), it’s conviction that will keep you standing, not butterflies in your stomach. 🦋

2. Purpose 🎯

Marriage isn’t just two people wearing matching Ankara; it’s about shared direction.

Do you believe in the same vision?

Are you going in the same direction in life?

Can you build a future together that aligns with God’s purpose for you both?

Because two people going in opposite directions can’t build the same house.

3. Attraction ❤️

Yes, spirituality and purpose matter, but attraction also counts o!

If the first two boxes are ticked but you can’t stand each other’s presence, my dear, na crisis be that.

God is wise. He leads you to someone you can love — spirit, soul, and body.

Lastly,

Get the conviction, align in purpose, and don’t ignore attraction.

That’s the combo for a marriage built to last. 💪

Come Up Higher: Why Many Christians Miss It When Hearing God

Let’s be real — one of the biggest problems we Christians have today is too much sensuality.

We are too emotional, too physical, too earthly-minded. Everything about us is driven by what we see, feel, or hear. And because of that, we’ve lost our spiritual sharpness.

After seeking the Lord about a lot of things, I realized something deep:

👉 The reason many believers make wrong decisions — even in marriage — is because we live too much in the realm of our senses.

If we’ll ever walk in real peace and clarity, we must learn to live in what I call “the realm of senselessness.”

That means not being controlled by your feelings, but by the Spirit of God.

1. We Are Too Earthly

Our attention is buried in this world — phones, social media, movies, people’s opinions, beauty, emotions… everything pulling our senses in different directions.

No wonder we can’t hear God clearly anymore.

“Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.”

— Colossians 3:2

" I beseech[a] you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your [b]reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God."

— Romans 12:1-2

Because our consciousness is stuck on earthly things, little things easily shake us — lust, heartbreak, anger, depression, jealousy, and so on.

We are reacting to life instead of ruling over it.

That’s why the Bible says:

> “They that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.”

— Romans 8:5

When your senses are louder than your spirit, you will always be confused.

2. Satan Is Using Sensuality to Deceive Many

The devil is smart — he knows he can’t deceive a spiritual person easily, so he hides behind feelings.

He can make a thing look godly when it’s not.

He can make someone feel right when they are totally wrong for you.

“For Satan himself transforms into an angel of light.”

— 2 Corinthians 11:14

Many people said, “God told me he’s the one,” or “God told me she’s my wife,” but years later, they realized it wasn’t God — it was their desires speaking.

They had already made up their mind, and then they added “God said” to it.

Let’s not lie — sometimes we don’t want to hear the truth; we just want God to confirm what we already want.

That’s how Satan manipulates sensual people.

3. To Hear God, You Must Quiet the Noise

“Be still, and know that I am God.”

— Psalm 46:10

God speaks clearly, but not loudly. His voice doesn’t compete with TikTok, your emotions, or your friends’ advice.

If you truly want to know His mind — especially about marriage — you have to quiet the noise and create stillness inside you.

That’s why I said earlier: you must live in the realm of senselessness.

That’s not stupidity — it’s spiritual sensitivity. It means you’re not moved by sight or emotions, but by peace and truth in your spirit.

4. Pray Until Peace Speaks

Many people pray for five minutes, hear nothing, and then make decisions anyhow.

But true prayer doesn’t stop when you finish talking — it stops when peace comes.

> “Ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.”

— John 16:24

When you’ve truly prayed through, your heart becomes light and calm — not pressured.

If you still feel anxious or confused after praying, it’s not yet time to decide.

Don’t move until peace settles it.

 5. Don’t Confuse Emotion With Revelation

Sometimes, what we call “the Holy Spirit told me” is actually our own desire echoing back at us.

Let’s be honest — attraction is powerful. A person can be so charming that you start hearing “God said” when it’s really your hormones talking. 😅

That’s why the Bible says:

“The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?”

— Jeremiah 17:9

When your emotions are strong, pause. Don’t rush.

Let your heart cool off before seeking confirmation.

Because God’s voice brings peace, but the flesh brings pressure.

 6. How to Test What You Hear

Don’t believe every voice you hear — test it.

“Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God.”

— 1 John 4:1

Here’s how to test:

1. Does it agree with Scripture? God never contradicts His Word.

2. Does it give peace, not pressure?

3. Does it glorify God or please your flesh?

4. Has it been confirmed by mature believers or mentors?

If you fail any of these, slow down. The Spirit of God is not in a hurry; He is steady, sure, and calm.

🔹 7. Live in the Presence of God Daily

“Abide in Me, and I in you.”

— John 15:4

Don’t only seek God when you need a spouse or an answer. Live in His presence daily.

When you practice the presence of God consistently, your spiritual senses become sharp.

You begin to recognize His tone, His peace, and His ways.

Holiness also helps you stay tuned to His frequency.

“Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.”

— Hebrews 12:14

Holiness is not old-fashioned — it’s spiritual sensitivity.

🔹 8. Come Up Higher

“After this I looked, and behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice … said, Come up hither.”

— Revelation 4:1

God is calling you to rise above noise and fleshly living.

Stop running your life by vibes and emotions — start walking by revelation and discernment.

When you live from the realm of the Spirit, your steps become steady. You stop guessing, and start knowing.

Your peace becomes your compass.

Final Words

God is our Father and a Guide.

He won’t force His will on you, but He’ll give you wisdom to choose right.

And if you’ll stay close to Him, you won’t miss it.

So today, make a decision to come up higher.

Turn down the volume of the world, quiet your feelings, and tune in to the gentle whisper of the Spirit.

That’s where true clarity lives.

“Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.”

— Galatians 5:16

The more spiritual you become, the less confused you’ll be.

So, come up thither — God is still speaking. You just need to live high enough to hear Him clearly.

A man helped by God

How I Broke Free From Inferiority, Attracted Better, and Became the Man God Designed Me to Be

For a long time in my life, I valued substance over appearance. I’ve always been wired that way — maybe because I’m a sapiosexual, someone drawn more to depth, intelligence, and inner worth than physical packaging.

But knowing my purpose wasn’t enough. I noticed a painful pattern:
👉 Most people drawn to me, and even the ladies around me, were operating below my value system in many ways.
And when it came to the kind of woman I truly desired — spiritually, intellectually, emotionally — I often felt small, inadequate, and not good enough for her.

People even told me,

“That girl is out of your league.”

For years, I lived under this silent prison of self-judgment — a cage I built with my own hands.

Why I Kept Hearing “No” From God

Looking back now, I understand something deep:
It wasn’t that God didn’t want to bless me.
It was that I didn’t see myself as someone who could handle the blessing.

I walked for years with:

subtle inferiority complex,

lack of confidence,

emotional immaturity,

self-limiting beliefs,

and mental ceilings I didn’t even know existed.

These internal issues did two major things:

1. They attracted the wrong people into my life, because brokenness attracts brokenness.

2. They made me feel unworthy of the quality of the woman I truly desired, so I never reached for what I really wanted.

You cannot rise above the picture you carry of yourself.

🔥 How Everything Shifted

The turning point didn’t come by accident.
I deliberately began a journey of self-transformation.

I picked up books.
I listened to sermons.
I spent time in prayer.
And slowly, steadily, deeply — my mind began to change.

It was like scales fell off my eyes.

I discovered I wasn’t “small.”
I wasn’t “not enough.”
I wasn’t “out of her league.”
No…

I realized I was simply living far below my true identity.

I saw myself clearly — the man God designed, not the man fear painted.

🔹 A New Identity Emerged

I stopped waiting for someone to “complete” me.
I stopped waiting for validation.
I stopped shrinking myself to make others comfortable.

Instead, I began to see myself as a man with something to offer — to my generation, to my family, to the woman who will eventually become my wife.

I discovered that:

I could practice husbandhood before marriage.

I could cultivate fatherhood before having a child.

I could build confidence without arrogance.

I could grow without rushing.

And slowly, the emotional instability that used to push me into wrong relationships simply died a natural death.

🔥 Confidence Is Attractive — Even Spiritually

One thing I now understand clearly is this:
Women gravitate towards confidence — not pride, not ego, but true identity.

For years, I lacked that.
Now, I don’t look at a woman and think, “She’s too high for me.”
Why?
Because when I finally discovered my true identity in God, I realized:

👉 I am bigger than what people saw.
👉 I am bigger than what my fears told me.
👉 I am bigger than the limitations I accepted.

Now I walk with the quiet confidence of a man who knows who he is — and whose he is.

🔹 Gentle Advice to Every Single Brother:

My brother, hear me well:

Develop yourself so well that mediocrity will see you and flee.
Don’t just pray for a great woman; become a great man.
Stop chasing approval — build capacity.
Don’t allow insecurity to be the gatekeeper of your destiny.

Read books.
Upgrade your mindset.
Build emotional stability.
Strengthen your spiritual life.
Work on your gifts.
Invest in yourself.

Because you do not attract what you want — you attract who you are.

When you become a high-value man, inferior relationships will stop finding you, and you will naturally rise into the level of the woman God has designed for you.

💬 Final Thought

The day you discover your identity is the day you stop begging for love and start choosing with clarity.

I’m no longer intimidated by quality women.
I’m no longer afraid of “leagues.”
I’m no longer shrinking to fit people’s expectations.

Why?

Because I have finally grown into the man that was always inside me.

And trust me — any sister who marries this version of me…
She will be blessed indeed.

Episode 9 of Otelabi Story

In several other occasions, Oluwo had attempted to kill Otelabi, but she has been miraculously delivered by King Adeife interventions.

King Adeife called for a meeting among his chiefs. In the meeting, everyone pointed out their opinions, especially how much lives that has been lost because of Otelabi.

Lisa: What else should we do? Everything we know has failed.

Iyalode: I think it's high time, we called Oluwo and negotiate with him whatever he wants to stop deceiving Otelabi.

Balogun: That can't be possible! Oluwo is an Outcast. We can't negotiate with him.

All the chiefs were debating whether to negotiate with Oluwo or not.

Finally the king spoke

King Adeife: My chiefs, I appreciate your concerns and your standing by me in this situations. It has been in my mind also that I will invite Otelabi and talk things out with him. I was only hoping Otelabi will change with times, but now it's very obvious that Otelabi will not change until we deal with Oluwo issue.

My people, let's invite Oluwo to the palace.

They all agreed to invite Oluwo to the palace and some messengers were sent to Oluwo to appear in the palace on the agreed date.

Oluwo was very surprised to receive an invitation to the palace. His cohorts advised him to go and listen to what the king has to say.

On the day of the meeting, the chiefs were there and the king present.

Balogun: We welcome everyone to this very crucial meeting. Oluwo, the reason the king invited you to this meeting is to have some negotiations with you.

The king is in the best position to tell you what he really wants from you.

King Adeife: Oluwo, without wasting time, I want you to stop to terrorising Otelabi's life, leave her alone and let her love me. You can't have her for ever. I love her.

Oluwo: O king, with due respect, I can't leave Otelabi alone, she's mine, she has pledged her life to me.

King Adeife: I know all these, but I want her, you know she was my own before until you took her away from me. So tell me anything you want to the half of my Kingdom.

Oluwo was surprised with the offer.

Oluwo: Do you mean you can do anything I ask?

King Adeife: Yes… even to the half of my Kingdom

Oluwo: I can't give you an answer now, let me go and think over it.

King Adeife: By next week, you should have finished thinking about it, So we will be expecting you in our next meeting.

After a few more discussions, the meeting was dismissed and everyone went home.

Oluwo went home and called a meeting regarding the king's offer. He asked his people for their opinions.

Oluwo: What should I ask from the king.

Some suggested he requested for big lands, some suggested houses, estates and several things. Lastly  Ikutu had a different opinion.

Ikutu: All these things are easy for the king to give. But there is something the king will not be able to give out.

Everyone chorused and look at his direction: What's that?

Ogbon'ye: The king can never give out his life to save Otelabi. Let's ask for his life, I'm sure he won't be able to give it out and when he doesn't do that, we will have total ownership on Otelabi.

Everyone in the meeting was happy with the suggestion and they celebrated their victory over Otelabi.

Oluwo: I'm super excited this night, I wish the meeting with the king should be tomorrow.

They laughed and the meeting was dismissed

At King's Adeife Palace, during the next meeting with Oluwo.

Balogun: Oluwo, tell us what you want, our king is capable.

Iyalode: I s it money, lands or whatever name it

King Adeife: name whatever you want, we're here for you.

Oluwo: I don't want anything, all those things you're saying doesn't appeal to me

I only need one thing

Balogun: say it

King Adeife: Let me know it

Oluwo: King Adeife, it's your life  I need. You can only use your life to save Otelabi. No money or treasure can be accepted…

Balogun: What do you mean by the king's life

Oluwo: The king must die !

Oluwo: It's either Otelabi dies or the king dies. If the king is not ready to die, he should forget about Otelabi.

Everyone in the palace was shocked and there was momentary silence!

King Adeife: Is that what you really want? Why not take my golds, diamonds, emerald and other precious treasures

Oluwo: I don't need all those, what I need is me seeing your blood splash on the ground, take it or leave it.

King Adeife: Okay, if that will be the case, I will send for you as soon as possible, so that you can know my stand. Pending those few days, don't touch Otelabi or harm her.

Oluwo: That's not an issue, I wouldn't touch her.

King Adeife: You can now take your leave

Oluwo left the palace

iyalode: You can't waste your life because of a woman ooo

Balogun: Please don't try it, it will be a big blow on us because you're going to be embarrassed, disgraced and scorn and you know that will affect our lives too.

Everyone in the palace was against the idea

The king also was not happy with the idea, but he told his chiefs that new would think about it.

*Will king Adeife give his out his life to save a woman that doesn't love her?*

Episode 8 of Otelabi Story

As she was running towards the treasure, she entered into a trap setup by an hunter to catch animals. Her leg was caught up in the trap and was bleeding profusely. She cried for help and nobody could help her. She had started loosing much blood.

Otelabi: Yee! I'm dieing, who will help me? Oluwo come to my rescue oooo. Don't let me die like this.

Meanwhile Oluwo and his cohorts were monitoring Otelabi in their screen. They were very happy that finally Otelabi would die.

Otelabi has lost a large amount of blood, she has become so weak and dieing

"Is this how I will end my life?" She questioned.

Otelabi had already given up. But all of a sudden, she saw a man standing in her front.

"Please, help me sir" Otelabi begged

"That's why I am here, I'm here to help you"

The man bent down, removed the trap, did some first aids and the blood stopped flowing.

He gave Otelabi some herbs to consume so as to restore her blood. Otelabi started regaining her strength, now she could stand up.

"What brought you here" The man asked

Otelabi: I came here to pick up a treasure.

The man: What type of treasure is that?

Otelabi: Diamond! That's it there ( pointing to the diamonds)

The man: (walked up to the diamonds and took them)

Can't you see that these diamonds are fake. It looks like a real diamond, but it's synthetic.

Otelabi: What! Ah! Is this what I wanted to die for?

The man: Oluwo planned all these against you, Oluwo is not your friend, he is your enemy.

Otelabi: But…

The man interrupted: he is nice right? He is only deceiving you, he is not nice. Anyway, this place is dangerous, come let me carry you on my back.

Otelabi: Carry me? Why are you so nice?

The man: Well, that's my nature, I love people easily even when they are complete strangers

Otelabi: That's good! I wish to know you better

The man: surely, we will know ourselves more than this.

As Otelabi moved, he got to the back of the man, in a twinkle of an eye, they appear outside the jungle where Otelabi guards' were waiting. By this time, they were already weary of waiting, some bad thoughts has already occupied their hearts. Thoughts like "Otelabi has been killed by wild animals" "The evil demon has killed her" but they couldn't say it out because of the fear created by Otelabi.

Now, Otelabi and his newfound friend appeared from nowhere.

The guards were sore afraid to see them.

The man: Otelabi, I will be leaving you now, take care of yourself. Just have it in mind that I love you.

Otelabi: Who are you? How did you even know my name?

The man: smiles, you asked two questions, which one should I answer first? Anyway, my name is Love. I have known you for a very long time.

As the man started introducing himself, his face began to change gradually to that of king Adeife.

Otelabi: Yee! Help ooo! King Adeife, ah! How? Why?

Within few seconds, he disappeared. As he was disappearing he said "Otelabi, remember I love you"

Otelabi was dumbfounded, she could not utter a word.

For several minutes, she could not say anything. Later she said "What manner of man is this? What does this man sees in me"

After a while...

Otelabi: Let's go home please. Please....

In few moments.... They got home

When she got home, she was taken care of by her maids and she slept for several hours. While she was sleeping Oluwo and his cohorts started planning on the way forward to destroy Otelabi.

They finally reached a conclusion and they planned to visit Otelabi in 3 days time.

After 3 days, Otelabi had fully recovered, although the scars was still there.

Oluwo cohorts finally decided to pay Otelabi a visit..

When Otelabi saw them coming, she became angry.

Oluwo: Good morning Otelabi.

Otelabi didn't answer normally, she just answer with nose.

Oluwo: We've heard what happened to you, it's so bad that King Adeife set a trap for you, decided to kill you and also change the diamonds to fake, and then pretended to be a nice person by saving you.

Otelabi: You can't say that, King Adeife was my saviour, you are the one that wanted to kill me.

Oluwo: Never allow King Adeife brainwash you, he is very trickery and cunning. He is a master of pretence and deceit.

Otelabi: Are you for real? So you mean to say king Adeife set me up. Ah! This man! So you're this so wicked and deceitful.

Oluwo: I tell you, we must do everything in our power to stop this cunning king.

Now, tell your men never to allow any one from king Adeife see you, never ever set your eyes on anyone of them.

Otelabi, come nearer let me tell you something.

Oluwo wishphers some words in Otelabi's ear

After the whispering,

Otelabi: That's what we will do, thank you Oluwo.

After the meeting, Oluwo took off and Otelabi went inside her room to relax

The following day king Adeife sent some emissaries to check the welfare of Otelabi.

Now, the emissaries got to the gate of the village, with the Otelabi guards on duty.

The guards: Who are you and where are you going?

Emissaries: We are messengers from king Adeife, the king sent us a message to Otelabi, we came to check on her health and to present her some gifts as usual.

One of the guards: ooh, that's good to hear, thank you for coming to check on our boss. You may enter.

He opens the gate for them, and they entered through the gate.

Other guards were surprised that the emissaries were allowed to enter the village.

They called the guard and whispers secretly.

"Why did you open the gate for them"

" Don't worry I know what I'm doing, just cock your gun"

They all cocked their gun. Then he signified to them to shoot. And these emissaries were shot and the gifts were collected. They packed their corpses and disposed them.

In few hours, Oluwo guards arrived and carted away the gift brought by Adeife.

That was how many other messengers sent to Otelabi were killed and their gifts were carted away.

After a few months, Oluwo finally decided to kill Otelabi by physical poison in her food. Oluwo sent his guards to give some poisoned foodstuffs to Otelabi.
He sent the foodstuffs to Otelabi through his guards.
While the Oluwo guards became tired as they were walking on the way, they decided to rest and slept for few minutes before continuing their journey. Finally, they woke up and got to Otelabi house. Otelabi was happy to receive the gifts. The next day, Otelabi cooked some of the foodstuffs, but nothing happened to her. Oluwo monitoring Otelabi from the screen was surprised to see Otelabi alive, even some of the maids that ate the food was hale and hearty.

Oluwo and his cohorts became confused and they began to suspect each other, maybe someone has neutralised the poison .

Oluwo: If I get to know that anyone of you here has compromised by neutralising this poison, the person will be killed.

Oluwo made some incantations and immediately, the source of problem was shown. It was revealed that it was king Adeife that came to change the foodstuffs while the guards were sleeping.

Everyone of them was surprised.

"What does the king Adeife really want in this woman called Otelabi"  One of them furiously said.

Oluwo: We will never rest, Otelabi must not live, but we must find a way to stop King Adeife.

They planned their next attack and they decided to physically assault Otelabi.

One midnight, they came with guns, knives, matchete, etc

They got to Otelabi room, they had already targeted where she sleeps and they started cutting her. But to their surprises, Otelabi did not shout for help. Finally, they decided to uncover Otelabi face and lo and behold, it was merely clothes they met

What really happened was that Otelabi had been sicked and she had had left her house to a local doctor to receive some medical help and she couldn't return home that night. That was how she was saved from death. Oluwo and his cohorts were seriously disappointed.

In several other occasions, Oluwo had attempted to kill Otelabi, but she has been miraculously delivered by King Adeife interventions.

Now Otelabi continued her journey to the jungle to pick her desired treasure. She trekked for four hours until she saw something shinning and glowing.

Otelabi: At last, I saw it! Wow! This is wonderful!

The Story of Otelabi Episode 6

The leader of the guards facing Otelabi............

Chief Guard: Actually there is a problem we want you to help us solve. There is a woman that killed the brothers and friends of a young man, but this young man is ready to forgive her, what he just wants is that the woman should accept to marry him. But this woman refuses and even threatens to kill the young man if he persists. The reason we came is that we want you to help us beg the woman to accept our friend's marriage proposal.

Otelabi surprised: What kind of wicked and ungrateful woman is that. Where is she in this my territory?
Guard: Otelabi, King Adeife loves you despite all your atrocities and you….
Otelabi interrupted: So, you mean you're from Adeife? What arrant nonsense? How did you come in?
Ajala! Who opened the gates for these silly men.

Otelabi called the guards to torture the messengers of king Adeife.

Otelabi: Get some other guards with you, go and torture and imprison these fools and vagabond.
It was because I allowed them to went scot-free the last time.

Ajala and the guards started beating the king's messenger.
Otelabi: Before you take them to the prison, check their luggage for any valuables. I know that foolish king may want to bribe me with gifts.

Ajala and a guard ransacked the king's messenger and behold, golden pieces of jewelry were found.

Ajala: Your highness, we found, something massive

Otelabi: What's that?

One of the king's messenger: It's precious gold from the palace of our king. He asked us to give it to you.

Ajala: Shout up, who asked you a question.
Now facing Otelabi
Your highness, I'm sorry, don't mind that big fool. It's some common gold that was packaged in a bag.
Otelabi: Just bring it here
Ajala brought the gold closer to Otelabi.
Otelabi called the guard to a corner: Open it
On sighting the gold, Otelabi exclaimed: These types of gold are not the common ones ooo. They are precious stones. We have to keep it.
Otelabi went back to where the king's guards are were being tortured.

Otelabi: So, you people brought useless gold to embarrass me here. Anyway, I don't have much to say guards go and torture and imprison then.

The golds were secretly hidden in Otelabi's room and the guards were beating the king's messengers mercilessly. The king's messengers were telling Otelabi guards to turn away from their evil, they preached of Adeife's love, but while torturing them all the guards passed out and died as their bodies couldn't survive the pain again and only their leader survived the torture.

Ajala rushed to Otelabi's room
Ajala panting: It has happened ooo,
Otelabi: What happened?
Ajala: The king's messengers passed out, only one person is remaining.
Otelabi: What do you mean by they passed out, they escaped or what do you mean.
Ajala: I mean they gave up the ghost while the torture was going on. They couldn't survive the beatings.

Otelabi: This is a big problem! Ajala, you and your boys have put me in trouble. Do you want Adeife to bring war down here? You know we won't survive it.

Otelabi paused momentarily and thought over what to do.

Otelabi: Go and prepare your boys for war, Adeife will revenge. We must also send for reinforcement from Oluwo.

While they were talking Oluwo messenger arrived
Inalenu interrupted their interactions.
Inalenu: I have an urgent message from Oluwo.
Otelabi: What's the message? How urgent must the message be that you can't even greet me?
Inalenu: This is an urgent matter. I don't have much to say. Our lord, Oluwo asked me to get the gold King Adeife gave you. He needs it with immediate effect, don't ever try to hesitate.
Otelabi: Ahahha, why? This gold is so precious to me. It's a rare gold.
Inalenu: That was what caught Oluwo's attention, he loves the gold and he needs it.
Otelabi: Well, I know Oluwo loves me and I love him too, he knows the best things for me. Well, he deserves the better than I do.

Inalenu: Now, you're talking, get the gold for me, I have limited time.
Otelabi asks Ajala to fetch the gold and while he went to get it, Otelabi engaged Inalenu in a conversation.

Otelabi: In fact, you came at the right time,  I really need the help of Oluwo at this time.

Inalenu: Otelabi, I can't hear anything, I was sent here for a purpose and that's the only reason I am here. You can come and see Oluwo yourself, I'm sorry, please.

Otelabi was very surprised and wondered why he would act like that.

Ajala arrived with the gold.

Ajala: Here is the gold

Inalenu: Yeah, that's it. ( Inalenu collected the gold and disappeared)

Otelabi: Yee!! I'm doomed, the gold is gone!
Ajala: My lord, I will advise you don't panic about the gold but the war coming on us. I will advise we release the only man that survived
Otelabi: Go and release him. The war, the war, war is coming… Otelabi fainted.

The guards quickly rushed her to a well-ventilated place, pour water on her and she came back to life.

Have you released the surviving messenger,  was the first thing asked when she came back to life

Ajala replied: No, my lord.

Otelabi: Go and release him now with immediate effect.

The messenger was released and was sent back to King Adeife, however, they cleaned him up before sending him away, although he rejected their foods.

When the surviving messenger got to the palace, he explained everything to the council of the king, all the chiefs were surprised about the development and they mourned for the deceased. The king, although angry at the development, he was not surprised, and his love for Otelabi did not change.
He ordered that the bodies of the messengers be brought to the palace for the last respect.

The king ordered some hefty men that Otelabi's men nor Oluwo could combat with. When they got to the Otelabi empire, all the guards were sore afraid and everybody was running for their lives.

When Otelabi saw them
She started pleading: I know you have come to destroy us but tamper justice with mercy.

One of the men: We've not come for you, we came for the bodies of our brothers you killed.

Otelabi: There they are, (pointed to the place they were laid. The surprising thing is that their body was very fresh and the wounds disappeared and they were now fresh, no smell after about a day they had died)

They carried the corpse in the coffins they brought, and before they disappeared, They faced Otelabi and chorused: King Adeife loves you, why not give him your heart.
Immediately after those words, they disappeared.

Otelabi was sorely convicted and wept for hours...

She started considering to give King Adeife a chance since she is getting convinced that the king loves her, but as she was thinking of accepting the king. Oluwo sent his emissaries to Otelabi and the message was that she should not give her heart to Adeife. She was told that Adeife the King is a cunny man and he is only finding the perfect way to kill her.

Emissaries: Oluwo said we should warn you against Adeife the king, he is a cunny man, full of deceit. He wants to bring you to his palace so that he can disgrace you before killing you. Otelabi, run for your head.

Oluwo also said we should warn you that you should never allow king Adeife's messenger to enter your community again. Tell your guards to always stay at alert at the entrance of this community and any messengers of the king should be killed.

Otelabi: Ah! ah! Killed them?
Emissaries: Yes, kill them. Don't be afraid, they cannot do anything. King Adeife will not fight against you. He's a very patient person.

Be rest assured that we are at your back.

After discussing with Otelabi they left her house and Otelabi went inside her room.

At Oluwo territory
They were holding a meeting.

Oluwo: King Adeife's love and mercy is great. We must not allow him to use his power to save Otelabi from our hands. What must be done?

Everyone in the meeting was bringing in their suggestions but none of them caught the attention of Oluwo.
Finally, what Ikutu said caught Oluwo's attention and he was very happy.......

What did Ikutu say.......... Check out in episode 7
